Burn’s Night Celebration

Green Martinstown’s first ever Burns Night celebration was warmly received and very much enjoyed by those who came along. From the beautifully decorated tables to the sense of welcome on arrival, it felt like a relaxed and special occasion.

The talks and traditions were engaging and informative , with singing from Dave Milner and a thoughtful contribution from Reverend Teresa, both of which added depth and interest to the evening. Colin’s talk and images of Orkney were particularly evocative and much appreciated.

The food was delicious and a real credit to the kitchen team. Overall it was a lovely shared evening and a genuine team effort, for which many people gave kind and generous feedback.

Expect this event to be back next year!
